You fund a prize pool. 90% goes to the people who do the work. The 10% we keep is split evenly between the token and the team. That is the whole model.

Where the money goes

There is no subscription, no seats, no per-user fee, no setup cost. You fund a bounty, and 90% of it becomes the prize pool that pays the people who do the work. Inception keeps 10%.

That 10% is split down the middle:

  • 5% buys back $ICPT into the community treasury on the open market, so real demand for footage becomes value the community owns.
  • 5% funds the team: marketing, support, and everything else that grows the network.

You pay per bounty. Fund one, fund ten, fund none this month. The split is the same every time: 90% to the crowd, 10% to us.

A worked example

Say you fund a bounty with $100.

  • $90 goes straight into the prize pool, split among up to 5 winners.
  • $10 is the Inception fee: $5 buys back $ICPT into the community treasury, $5 funds the team.

The split of the pool is yours to set. Pay one winner $90, or spread it across five at $18 each, or any mix in between. Fund $1,000 and $900 reaches the workers. Fund $10,000 and $9,000 does. The math scales cleanly because the fee never moves.

Start small, then scale

A bounty can start at a few dollars. That is on purpose. Teams use a small first bounty to see what the crowd sends back: the kind of work, the camera angle, the quality of the footage, the volume of submissions. Test cheap, learn fast.

Once you know it works, scale the prize pool up. Bigger pools pull more submissions and better footage. You control the budget on every single bounty, so there is never a commitment beyond the one you are funding right now.

What the fee covers

The 5% that funds the team is what lets Inception run the entire campaign so your team never has to touch the crowd:

  • Running the campaign on Pump.fun Go from launch to payout.
  • Moderation against your spec, so submissions that do not match what you asked for get filtered out before they reach you.
  • USDC payouts to winners, settled on Solana.
  • Licensing, with worker consent on every clip.
  • On-chain provenance, so every piece of footage is traceable.
  • Delivery of the final, licensed footage to your team.

The other 5% buys back $ICPT into the community treasury, so the people building the dataset share in the demand they create.

No surprises

The 10% is the only fee. We do not mark up the prize pool, charge for extra submissions, or bill you for revisions to your spec. What you fund is what gets paid out, minus that one cut.
